It  really is not that easy to leave the past behind you. There are some things I have done that I regret some things I've done I regret because I've lost friends over it and really wish I can take it back. There are some things you can forget but most of the time you can't because it will haunt you. In other words stay with you for a long time.

Some people out there regret all the things they have done to themselves or other people. Most people worry about bullying, that is a big past you can't put behind you or anything because when you are bullied you start having mixed emotions or you might start cutting and stuff like that, but anyways in my opinion one day im going be able to put the past behind me.

Gatsby in general I think he put his past behind him when he and Daisy reunited again and then fell in love until his life was taken away,.but anyways some people can put the past behind and some can't.

I think this is why it relates to the movie and the book because there was a lot of tragic moments in both the book and movie some of the characters could put the past behind them and some of them could not put the past behind them.

There is always gonna be forgiveness so therefore that will put the past behind you.
In conclusion there are some things that are easy and some thing that are not easy in this world we all make mistakes and we all will learn from these mistakes and 'Put the Past behind you'. 'The Great Gatsby'
